Build Trust & Credibility
It is so important to always do what you say you're
going to do – AND more. If you have an appointment
at 10 a.m. then don’t be late, or worse, don't be a
“no-show”. It doesn’t matter if it is an online meeting,
a phone meeting or an in-person meeting. You owe it to
the person that you made the date with to be trust-
worthy and honorable. (Always honor other people’s
time).
Connecting people in your network is another way to
build trust and credibility – as you become the trusted
source that brought them together – it feels good when it
works and it is another way to show you care.
Another part of building trust is to educate, help and
inspire others with your knowledge and expertise. You
are building a foundation for trust that is so necessary in
lasting relationships. When you share content, blog,
speak, podcast, do a workshop, or webinar, you are
serving and helping others.
