Stay Connected






                                                                           Whether by phone, email, text or even snail mail –
                                                                           systematically reach out and let your clients know you

                                                                           are here to help – don’t let too much time go by – or

                                                                           they won’t remember you and will move on.


                                                                              I always share this story because it's such a great

                                                                                  example of why we need to stay connected:
                                                                             I have a friend who sold 3 houses in 15 years – and each

                                                                              time he used a different realtor. Can you guess why?
                                                                               Not one of the realtors stayed in touch.  Why would

                                                                                 my friend have felt any loyalty to someone who

                                                                                               didn’t stay connected?


                                                                           It’s also important when staying connected that you
                                                                           follow the 80/20 rule – 80% of the time educate them,

                                                                           show you care, offer something of value, and 20% of the

                                                                           time you can ask for a referral or a favor.
